FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Where do we meet to start the tour?
All trips leave from Seal Cove in Prince Rupert - check-in is at 8am at Ocean Pacific Air in Seal Cove (477 Seal Cove Rd, Prince Rupert) on the first day of your tour.
Where can I park my car?
Free parking is available at the floatplane base in Seal Cove - ask Ocean Pacific Air to show you where to park.
How much luggage can I bring to the lodge?
Because of limited weight on the floatplane, your bag MUST be 20 lbs or less. Your photography gear is separate to this but please keep the weight of your photography gear down as much as possible - Ocean Pacific Air will weigh your bag and photography gear at check-in. You are welcome to store any excess luggage with them while you are at the lodge. We recommend that you use a soft backpack or duffel bag - please avoid bringing hard suitcases as these are harder to load into the floatplane.
Which Air Canada flights into Prince Rupert (YPR) should I book?
Guests must be in Prince Rupert the night before the first day of your tour. Please note that you will not be able to make the connection to Air Canada flights leaving YPR in the morning on the last day of your tour. We do recommend insurance as delays can occur due to weather or fog.
Are there flights from the lodge to YPR?
